Minister of Science and Culture
Antti Kurvinen is the Minister of Science and Culture in Prime Minister Marin’s Government, currently serving his second term in the Parliament of Finland as a member of the Centre Party from the Vaasa constituency. In local politics, he is a member of the Regional Council of South Ostrobothnia and the 1st Vice Chairman of the Kauhava City Council. Minister Kurvinen has also served as the chairman of the Centre Party Parliamentary Group and as the Vice Chairman of the Centre Party. Minister Kurvinen’s parliamentary duties are various and include among other things memberships in Administration Committee, Constitutional law Committee, Grand Committee and Legal Affairs Committee. Minister Kurvinen is Master of Laws and is an attorney by profession.
