The Personal View exhibition at Kadrioru Gallery, Tallinn, emerges from a dynamic collaboration initiated between the Estonian Painters Association and the Helsinki Artists Association in 2021. This creative partnership, expanded under the FinEst project launched in 2022, has resulted in eight major curatorial exhibitions in Tallinn, Pärnu, and Helsinki. By September 2024, the Lithuanian Artists’ Association, which has joined the FinEst project, has already opened a joint exhibition of art associations of these three countries in Vilnius.

Personal View is a unique exhibition that delves into the personal creative worlds of the curator-artists involved in the FinEst project. It offers an intimate exploration of their individual thoughts, philosophies, and artistic visions—reflecting their deepest vocations and creative content.

This exhibition provides the Estonian audience with a rare opportunity to engage with and compare the inner lives and creative convictions of contemporary artists from neighboring countries, offering a window into the artistic expression that defines our region today.

The exhibition will feature: Jaan Elken (EE), Vilen Künnapu (EE), Tiiu Rebane (EE), Mall Nukke (EE), Satu Kalliokuusi (FI), Kirsi-Marja Moberg (FI) and Mika Vesalahti (FI).
